Are you an octopus on rollerskates?

Hey Reader,

For most of my career and journey as an entrepreneur, I wore my get-sh*t-done attitude like a badge of honor.

I wasn’t the smartest, the luckiest, or the most well-connected.

So, I thought I needed to compensate by outworking everyone else.

And you know, for a while, it worked.

  • I was scrappy AF
  • I wasn’t afraid to try new things
  • I took big swings—some of which connected

I had zero formal training as a marketer, event organizer, or entrepreneur.

So, I made progress in every area of my life through sheer brute force.

If one posting on one social platform helped me grow, I’d add 3 more.

If one prospecting email became an opportunity, I’d send 1000.

If one networking event generated business, I’d attend 15.

But over time, I felt like my growth didn’t just plateau, but shrunk, because I was so damn burned out from this go-go-go lifestyle that didn’t even work anymore.

I felt like an octopus on rollerskates — a whole lot of movement with very little forward momentum.
And always one gust of wind away from an epic crash.

Over and over and over again, something would happen that would send me back to square one.

  • Trusting the wrong partners
  • Constantly trying new growth strategies
  • Building businesses that made me miserable
  • Never sure about what I was doing or where I was going
  • Hoping that, eventually, it would all click into place and work

But it didn’t.

Because I was missing one key element—my intuition.

I was always so focused on listening to everyone else that I forgot to listen to myself.

  • The kind of work that lit me up
  • Whom I felt honored to serve
  • My genuine superpowers
  • What I actually wanted
  • My inner wisdom

It wasn’t until I stripped my whole business down to the studs and began to get clear on the fundamentals of what I really wanted to build that I started to see progress.

Less but better became my mantra and the secret to real growth—in my joy, my satisfaction, and yes, my revenue, too.

If you’re at the point where I was…

  • Relying on unpredictable word-of-mouth to get new business
  • Always overwhelmed & doing too much to grow sustainably
  • Feeling like you’re always at the mercy of client demands
  • Struggling to create consistent, repeatable income
  • Wondering when you’ll finally “figure it all out”

Maybe the answer you seek isn’t MORE, but less.

Not outside experts, but inner wisdom
Not industry gurus, but intuition
Not forced growth, but focus
Not hustle & grind, but flow

What if you decided to slow down so you could finally feel where your internal compass was trying to direct you?

How would your business change? How would your life change?

In love and growth,
Kasey

The Business Model Problem That’s Keeping You Stuck

Hey Reader, For years, I was running on a hamster wheel. Every month felt like a race against the clock—scrambling to land new clients, chasing down invoices, and piecing together whatever projects I could to make ends meet. I told myself this was normal. That this was just the price of being self-employed. That eventually, if I worked hard enough, I’d “figure it out” and things would get easier. But deep down? I knew something was off. Because no matter how many clients I landed, how many...

My attempt at viral post bombed

Hey Reader, Last Friday, I posted what was supposed to be a high-engagement, lead-generating, viral post. I followed the formulas. I structured it the way the “growth hacks” say to. I even included a CTA designed to drive engagement. And… it completely flopped. At first, I was frustrated. But then, I realized something: I didn’t trust myself. I ignored my gut and followed a strategy that worked for someone else without reflecting on whether it felt right for me. Specifically, I followed the...

The ADHD Entrepreneur's secret weapon and kryptonite

Hey Reader, For most of my life, I thought something was wrong with me. I’d start one project, get excited, and dive in headfirst. And usually, I'd kind of kill it—moving faster, innovating more, and achieving bigger wins than most of my peers. But then, almost without warning, I’d get bored and drop it. I had a million ideas but struggled to finish anything. I bounced between strategies, jobs, and businesses. Never quite sure if I was on the right path. For years, I thought this was just...
